Description

A Brac island is located just offshore of Split. It is well known for its untouched beaches, more specifically, Zlatni Rat beach in Bol. The three-sided shape of this spit constantly changes due to tides and wind directions.

Besides its wonderful coast, the island is famous for its stone that was applied to many sights in Croatia (ex. Diocletian's Palace in Split). Brac is the perfect setting for your trip as it provides the option of exploring history and nature, and with Condor Yachting tour packages, this trip will get even better. From the moment you set foot on the Adriatic coast till your very last step, we will guarantee you enjoy each moment on the Adriatic coast.

Tour Itinerary

Discover the highlights of Brac, the Pakleni Islands, and Hvar all in one day! From the famous Zlatni Rat Beach to the quiet spots of the Pakleni Islands and the lively Hvar Town, this tour offers a day packed with fun and relaxation in the Adriatic Sea.

Starting Your Journey: From Split to the Brac

You'll kick off your adventure by meeting at the designated starting point: Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana 1, Split (in front of St. Frane church). Once you've gathered with your group, we'll hop aboard the boat and set sail for our first stop: Brac.

❖ 8:30  -11:30 Brac

Our first stop is Bol, the oldest town on the island's coastline. The fascinating town of Bol is known for its beautiful white stone structures built of the original stone, which was formed to create the legendary Diocletian’s Palace in the nearby Split.

Then, we'll head to one of Croatia's most emblematic beaches - Zlatni Rat Beach, the “Golden Cap” or “Golden Horn” Beach. People come to this sandy beach because it changes its form as it is swept by the Adriatic Sea's relaxed currents and breeze. This beach is not only for various kite windsurfing and boarding activities.

❖ 12:15 - 14:15 Hvar

Our next destination is the island of Hvar, one of the most picturesque and famous party spots in Croatia. Its charming and tranquil scenery is worth seeing before you continue your excursion.

❖ 14:30 - 16.30 The Allure of the Pakleni Islands

On the boiling heat of a summer's day, there is nothing as fresh and relaxing as jumping in the little waves of the Adriatic Sea. For this very reason, we are thrilled to bring you to the Paklinski Islands. Here, you'll have ample free time to discover picturesque bays and dive into the sea before we move on to our next destination.

❖ 17:10 - 17:50 Brac

Our last destination is Milna on Brac, a city that boasts the title of the island's largest natural harbour. As we approach this fishing village, prepare to be mesmerized by its stunning views and charming atmosphere, making it the ideal way to conclude a perfect day of exploration.

❖ 18:15 Arrival to Split

As the sun starts to set upon us, it is time to return back to Split.

Why Choose Brac Tour from Split?

Next to Hvar, Brac is one of the most famous Croatian islands. That is the reason we recommend this tour as you will travel to both islands during this tour. But aside from that, here are some of our favourite factors why choosing the Brac tour is the perfect way to explore the Adriatic:

  1. Rich History and Culture: Discover the town's history while visiting tranquil villages, antique ruins, and heritage sites that tell the remarkable story of the place.
  2. Pristine Beaches: Brac is where the most alluring beaches in Croatia are, especially the famous Zlatni Rat in Bol.
  3. Natural Beauty: The cliffs and the dense pinewoods of Brac provide a variety of places where hikers and climbers can enjoy themselves. Walk the beautiful trails, find hidden waters, or just rest in this clean natural area.
  4. Authentic Cuisine: Taste the flavours of Dalmatian cooking that is a mix of fresh seafood, regional cheeses, and olive oil. Brac's restaurants serve a wide choice of local favourites made with ingredients from farmers around the island, and this creates an authentic fine dining environment.
  5. Warm Hospitality: This is where the inhabitants will truly welcome you into their homes with their big hearts and share with openness their distinct cultural practices with every guest coming.

Activities to Enjoy on the Brac Island

The beaches of Brac Island not only contain the widest range of attractions but also the most enticing of all that can be found on these beaches.

Beautiful Beaches

Brac Island has beautiful beaches, some more special than others. There is a great beach in Bol called "Zlatni Rat" which is also referred to as the "Golden Horn" because of its unique shape. It has a white pebble shoreline with crystal clear waters that is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and water sports.

The other famous beaches are Lovrecina Beach which has white sandy shores and bushy pine trees and Supetar Beach which is a perfect choice for families with shallow waters and gentle waves.

The Crystal-Clear Waters

One of the great things about going to Brac Island is the possibility to swim and snorkel in its transparent water. The Adriatic Sea surrounding Brac is famous for its transparency and purity. So looks like you have perfect conditions for underwater exploration.

Drop down to the bottom of the ocean to see the beautiful ocean life, the interesting rock formations, and the hidden caves.

Travel Tips

Planning for your day tour to Brac? Here are some essential travel tips to ensure you make the most of your experience.

What to Pack for a Day Tour

When travelling to an island, especially in summer, make sure to pack these things:

  • Sun protection: Sunscreen, shades, and a hat are your best friends on the beach. Don't leave them behind.
  • Swimwear and towel: On a summer day, make sure you pack your swimsuit and a towel too.
  • Comfortable footwear: There's no better way to walk the block close to historic sites and along beautiful park trails than wearing standard shoes that are comfortable for a long day of sightseeing.
  • Water and snacks: Drink the water frequently throughout the entire day by holding the reusable water bottle. Consider packing your snacks such as fruits, nuts bars, or energy bars for you to feel strong in between meals.
  • Camera or smartphone: Bring to life the wonderful vistas and amazing moments of the Brac cruise with your camera or phone. Make sure to carry along extra batteries or have a portable charger ready so your devices keep running.

Essential Tips for Travelers

There are 3 essential tips every traveller should respect, and they are:

  1. Respect local customs: Get acquainted with the local norms and behaviour to demonstrate your understanding and will to respect the culture and traditions of the island. To prevent friction, dress modestly during your visit to religious centres and do not make bothering sounds around the residential areas.
  2. Stay safe: Brac is generally a safe island but things like common sense should be used. Take extra care of your things, remain alert, and do whatever the guides or locals ask of you that are safety-related.
  3. Be Eco-Friendly: Contribute to the effort to retain Brac's rich beauty by adhering to green habits like limiting plastic usage, recycling, and caring for wildlife habitats.

Best Time to Visit Brac Island

The ideal time to see Brac is during the spring (April – June) and autumn (September – October) when the weather is moderate and the number of people in the tourist areas is smaller. These seasons are perfect temperatures that suit outdoor recreation like hiking, cycling and frequenting the island's attractions without the summer crowds.

Nevertheless, for those who prefer to visit the beaches and live a vibrant life, the summer season (July-August) is more suitable although more crowded and hotter.
